Connect the Dots

One clear night
When the stars were shinning bright
I tilt my head high
And let my thoughts fly

The kid in my heart
Was enchanted with God's art
There He placed the beautiful stars
In the sky which is way a far

Tonight as free as a bird
I let my soul and heart be heard
A special time with the Creator
As I get to know more of His Warrior

Looking up and seeing the heavens above
Is one of the most precious gifts that I could have
Looking at its captivating beauty
Make my whole being just so happy

As I learn to connect the dots
I should look closer to the vital spots
From my childhood fun memories
My dad used to buy me connect the dot series

Quite a basic kid's activity
But it seems I'm not over it now that I'm twenty
The difference of how it used to be before
I needed books,now only stars are the one's I look for

Now as I look at the milky way
I lifted up my spirit and pray
I gazed at the beautiful stars
And there their amazing formation starts

I saw a small and big dipper
But what I saw further is much greater
I saw a small and big heart
Tonight I hold victory as I overcome thwart

As I saw the small heart inside the big heart
It took seconds for me to figure it out
The very meaning of it
And what is it all about

The bigger one belongs to God
The smaller one belongs to mine
As I learn humbly from the star power
Now I think I know myself better

God is love and He made me in His own image
Now the stars written on the sky unveils this life's page
I was created because of His Love
All the more I was created to share this love in my heart

A small heart contained in the big one
God is the sweetest, He knows how to have fun
He arranged the universe and the stars for me
Now I am reminded that I am in His heart, He loves me!

To love yourself is to love God
To love God is to love others
To love others we must love our given time
To love our given time we must love
