Paint a Color


To drop a note
Keep someone afloat
Is what people need
In their tough time indeed

To say you're thinking of them 
In their lives you care what's happening
To see simple way to help 
A warm comfort that is heart felt

A young person who needs a little push
 An old man who needs help trimming the bush
 A tight hug to a motherless child
 A precious time with the ones you love

While waiting for bigger responsibilities
Perhaps on lil' random act of kindness we can practice
At the end of a very long day we can say
We helped painted the world with color in our simplest way
