Morning Duo

There are two early birds
Starting their morning wit happy words
Words of pure excitement
Looking forward to the day's enchantment

Cliff a 5 year old boy
Gives birth to an uncontainable joy
To his other proclaimed mom
The very author of this poem

It seems were soldiers ready to fight
To have fun under the sun that's bright
When people are still snoring and sleeping
Straight to the beach that's where were heading

The lil army then marched
Smile in his eyes for a while i watched
Towards the destination of our course
Off we go! Just walked, hope we had a horse!

Walking plus running means excitement
Which leads to the beauty of life encouragement
A combination of a beautiful sky and an innocent one
Nothing on earth is worth more than being his other mom

Our first stop is to fetch his new friend 
Marvin is his name an unexpected find
Cliff was happy because he had a new gift from him
A kite made of plastic a personal favorite of Marvin

So we head on to the beach
Cliff the pilot started to fly his kite
Releasing the string nobody can reach
This lil buddy of mine displays his might

Then when the water invited more fun
Cliff and I buried the soda bottle kite holder in the sand
As the kite flied in the sky still
There the two boys had their water thrill

While watching these kids i reached Vietnam
As I sit on a chair I buried my feet in the silver sand
Reading a book and having morning sun on my skin
Letting peace and silence of the day come in

Cliff the sniff and I had fun
A lil' army, a pilot, an angel of mine
Tonight I miss him, tomorrow he'll be a fine man
Who will be a hero, one day will be a great one
