One Bucket of Dreams

Seated on the floor
Leaning at the wall
Outside the rain is pouring down
For this girl from a small town

Her feet is now under the blanket
But her thoughts are not arranged yet
Another hard night to sleep
A soul is on an on going field trip

February comes and knocks
More than half a year already passed
Asking myself familiar questions
Negotiating with God and asking for directions

Growing up as a child
A lot of dreams I desired
The list is completed one by one
Now I'm a grown up will it be gone?

I thought after the childhood dreams are reached I'll be done
Nobody told me that during that time it has just begun
But it's all good, it's okay
Maybe they knew I'll figure it out anyway

So now where am I at?
What is this rant all about?
In this solitary time I hope to find
A better self, in it His will be done

A wife and a mother, a teacher, or a writer?
A marketer, an artist, or a photographer?
A host, a model, a singer, or a dancer?
An intercessor, a servant, a philanthropist or a leader?

The desires of my heart are written in Your book
You read all my letters and You don't miss to look
You made it possible to make all my childhood dreams come true
Now I pray please help me reach my grown up dreams too

Deuteronomy13:13-15
" So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today - to love the Lord your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul - then I will send rain in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil.
